Mapping the Development of

Step-free Access Across

London’s Rail Network

Updated Map 20/05/18!

Happy May Timetable Change Day! I hope that everyone survives the potentially chaotic days ahead as teething problems are sorted. With the start of the new timetable today, the SfL map (linked below) has been updated to reflect changes in services (namely the expansion of TfL Rail and Thameslink services), correct minor errors, and highlight the latest step-free station, Buckhurst Hill, whose step-free access announcement earlier this week came as a huge surprise.

EDIT: Hackney Wick’s new station entrance has reportedly opened today, giving access to both platforms via lifts.
